Fun Day 2019: Community Groups Sign Up

Please note that we ask groups not to provide food and drink, for which we will have a central provision.

Slots are first-come-first-served, and we will do our best to ensure that no two groups intend on providing the same activity. If you have proposed an activity that has already been proposed by another group we will get in touch to ask you to propose a different activity.

By completing and electronically signing this form you are indicating your understanding that 1st Thorner and Scarcroft Scout Group (the event organisers) will not accept liability for any circumstances arising from any provision supplied by any organisation other than 1st Thorner and Scarcroft Scout Group.

We strongly recommend that local groups and organisations are covered by their own Public Liability Insurance. It is the responsibility of each organisation attending to make their own insurance arrangements if required. Short-term Public Liability Insurance (if required) can be purchased from a range of insurance providers and we would be happy to point you in the direction of a reputable provider for non-profits if required. We kindly ask that all organisations supply us with a copy of the risk assessment covering your activity, stall or display by the booking deadline of 1st May 2019. This is to allow us to ensure that we are providing a safe event for all.

If you have a copy of your Risk Assessment available at the time you complete this form, you can upload a copy below. Otherwise, please send a copy by e-mail to funday@TASscouts.org.uk before the booking deadline.

By ticking the box below you are confirming that your name, written in the box below, can be used in lieu of your signature to confirm:

1. That you have read and understood the Public Liability Disclaimer shown above, namely that 1st Thorner and Scarcroft Scout Group accept no liability for provision supplied or delivered by any organisation other than 1st Thorner and Scarcroft Scout Group.
2. That your organisation will make their own decision as to whether Public Liability insurance is required to cover your provision and will put a suitable policy in place if required.
3. That the representatives of your organisation supporting your provision at this event will support 1st Thorner and Scarcroft Scout Group (as the event organisers) in promoting and ensuring a high standard of safety and safeguarding during set up, delivery and strike of the event.
